AUTONOMOUS LANDING SYSTEM FOR MODEL ROCKETS

HOW IT WORKS

FLIGHT COMPUTER-GUIDED

A fully custom-designed printed circuit board (PCB) built for precision rocket landing. This PCB integrates advanced sensors, a powerful microcontroller, and robust flight algorithms to control the rocket’s descent and achieve a safe, propulsive landing. It ensures real-time data processing and control, making it the critical hardware for guided landings.

THRUST-VECTORING

A precision thrust-vectoring system that dynamically adjusts the rocket’s engine direction to maintain stability and control during flight. This technology enables real-time course corrections, allowing for accurate navigation and smooth landings, even under challenging conditions.

2023 UPDATE

ROCKET LANDING TEST 1

In October 2023, the first rocket landing test was conducted. During flight, the rocket used the onboard barometer, which incorrectly measured the altitude, leading to a delayed ignition of the landing motor. Despite this, the rocket performed well in all other aspects and collected valuable data for future flight tests.
